DETAILS BEHIND GAME AND CREATION:
GAME WAS DESIGNED AS A GIFT FOR LYLA AND MIMI TWO SISTER THAT ENJOY PLAYING GAMES/APPS ON THEIR TABLETS. SO WHY NOT CREATE A GAME WITH THEM AS THE CHARACTERS THAT CAN BE PLAYED ACROSS ALL DEVICES WITH EASE. SO THEN I STEPPED IN AND BEGIN MODELING THE TWO GIRLS CHARACTERS IN ANIME STUDIO PRO AFTER CREATING A CARTOON ILLUSTRATION OF THEM BOTH I BEGAN TO BONE THEM FOR MOVEMENT AND CHARACTER ANIMATION. ONCE EACH ACTION WAS CREATED FOR THEM BOTH. I BEGAN CODING THE GAME AS A PLATFORMED AUTO RUNNER / 2D SIDE SCROLLER. I WANTED TO GAME TO BE SIMPLE ENOUGH FOR A 4 AND 6 YEAR OLD YET STILL CHALLENGING ENOUGH TO KEEP THERE ATTENTION. THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF GAMEPLAY IN MY OPINION IS CONTROLS THE AMOUNT OF BUTTONS AND DIRECTION TO PRESS ON A CONSISTENT BASIS CAN MAKE A GAME INCREDIBLY HARD. I DIDNT WANT A COMPLEX CONTROLLER TO KILL THE GAME BEFORE IT BEGIN, BECAUSE TO MANY BUTTONS WILL MAKE A CHILDS SHORT ATTENTION SPAN GIVE UP AND RESORT TO SLAPING ALL THE KEYS/BUTTONS AT ONCE AND NOT LEARNING A RYTHYM OF GAMEPLAY. RATHER MY FULL INTENTIONS WAS  TO LET THE CHILD ENJOY THE GAME WITHOUT WORRY ABOUT WHAT KEY OR BUTTON TO PRESS/TOUCH TO OPERATE THE CHARACTERS ACTION. WITH THAT I DECIDED THE ENTIRE GAME WOULD BE CONTROLLED BY A SIMPLE TOUCH, CLICK, OR ANYKEY PRESSED ON A KEYPAD. THE PLAYER WOULD HAVE A  SUSTAINED RUNNING BEHAVIOR MEANING IT WOULD RUN TO THE RIGHT WITHOUT ANY INPUT FROM THE GAME PLAYER. SO SINCE THE RUNNINIG WAS AUTOMATIC THE PLAYER WOULD CONTROL THE SIMPLE YET FUN ACTION OF MAKING THE CHARACTER JUMP. THE LEVEL WOULD HAVE PLATFORMS THAT WOULD AT RANDOM PRODUCE GAPS CAUSING THE PLAYER TO HAVE TO JUMP ARE FALL ENDING THE GAME. I ALSO IMPLEMENTED COINS TO GIVE THE PLAYER ANOTHER REASON TO JUMP AND MAKE THE GAME A BIT MORE INTERESTING. I FINISHED UP WITH SCORE SCREEN, A SNAZZY PLAYER CHOICE MENU, A COOL TITLE SCREEN, AND A AWESOME MENU TO CHOOSE THE LEVEL/MAP YOU WOULD LIKE TO PLAY   IT TURNED OUT TO BE AN AWESOME GIFT TWO GIVE
